After a successful spring on the pitches of south central Iowa, several local high school soccer players were selected as All-State nominees from the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association.

Following the team’s 14th ever appearance at state, a pair of elite Pella girls players were once again honored. Abby Warner is a three-time first team All-State forward in Class 2A after scoring 45 goals in 2023. Teammate Haley Van Houweling was a second team honoree as a goalkeeper, giving up just four goals in the regular season.

In Class 3A, the Dutch boys had a pair on the first team All-State list; senior Logan Solomon and junior defender Max Lauman. The duo led the program to their six consecutive substate finals appearance.

The Knoxville Panthers boys had two All-State honorees in Class 2A; Carson Cecil was the first team All-State goalkeeper in the class, converting 85% of his save opportunities in 1354 minutes in the goal. Connor Willis was an honorable mention.

Joslyn Terpstra of Pella Christian was a first-team All-State selection for the second time in her career after a record-breaking season for the Eagles. This came on top of Academic All State honors.

Norwalk had plenty of representatives on the Class 2A girls squad and Class 3A boys All-State list. Caden Endres and Jack Brown were first team choices for the Class 3A state runners up in 2023, while Tavin Ferner was an honorable mention. Reese Trebilcock of the Warriors girls was a 2A first team choice on defense, while Kenzie Hodge was a second team honoree.
