The Pella City Council will hold a public hearing at their meeting this evening for construction bids to begin the process of converting overhead power lines underground along Idaho Drive. The council will also accept final improvements for the 250th Avenue road reconstruction project, consider a resolution to partner with Pella Historical Society for the upgrades to the downtown speaker system, and review a special event permit for the Pella All Original Music Showcase. During policy and planning following regular business, the council will discuss health and dental plan premiums for the upcoming fiscal year and have a review of the city’s peddler permit policies.
