Central College right fielder Colton DeRocher was selected to the All-Region 9 third team by D3baseball.com and the All-Region 9 second team by the American Baseball Coaches Association this week. 

DeRocher is making his first appearance on the D3baseball.com All-Region list after being selected to the third team by the American Baseball Coaches Association in 2022.

The team’s primary right fielder, DeRocher had a .380 batting average and slugged .660. He led the team in doubles (16), home runs (8) and RBI (38) while starting in 38 of 39 games. He was also second on the team with 34 runs scored.

DeRocher is the eighth player to earn D3baseball.com All-Region honors since the organization started naming the teams in 2012. He is now eligible for the D3baseball.com All-American list which will be released today. The Central right fielder became just the fifth member of the Dutch baseball program to be a two-time ABCA All-Region selection since 1990.

Central finished its season 15-24 overall and 8-16 in the American Rivers Conference.
