A house will be moved in Pella this morning.

According to Historic Pella Trust, Shawn and Cyndi Thomas purchased a house at 404 Main Street, as that structure and two adjacent homes at 400 and 402 Main were scheduled for demolition. Instead, the house from 404 will be relocated to 1015 East 3rd Street, west of Rotary Park.

The Pella Police Department advises to expect delays and traffic congestion on Main Street and Washington Street, especially in the downtown area.
