NDOT announces work on US-30, N-92, and N-40 in Paxton and Arnold

NORTH PLATTE – The Nebraska Department of Transportation has announced that work will begin Monday, June 12 in Paxton and Arnold, weather permitting.

Kid Barnes Construction, Inc. of Valentine is the contractor for the project. Work includes removal and replacement of select sidewalk curb ramps at Oak and Pine Street intersections with US-30 in Paxton.

Curb ramp work in Arnold will include Broadway Street and Carroll Avenue intersections with N-92 and First, Second, and Fourth Avenue intersections with N-40.

The work will be performed during day and nighttime sidewalk closures using barricades, with the projects’ anticipated completion in July of this year.

The Department of Transportation reminds motorists to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down while driving.
