Braves Softball Team Rolls Past Elkins by 18-4 Score
On Tuesday night, Bridgeport Middle School;s softball team boarded a school bus and headed to Elkins Middle School to play a Mid-Mountain Ten Conference game. On the way there, it did not look promising that the game would be played due to rainy weather. But when they arrived, the skies cleared and the game was able to be played.
Preston Shuts Out Bridgeport in Class AAA Region I, Section 2 Softball Game; Indians Finish at 5-20
Preston scored five runs in the second inning and would go on to defeat Bridgeport, 8-0, in a Class AAA Region I, Section 2 elimination softball game on Tuesday. With the loss, the Indians finish the season at 5-20. The Knights advance to play Buckhannon-Upshur in another elimination game scheduled for today.
