WHIPPANY, NJ - The Whippany Park Boys Baseball team emerged victorious over Parsippany with a final score of 10-4. The game, which took place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 4:00 pm, saw Whippany Park continue their dominant run in the NJAC - Independence division, maintaining their impressive 7-1 record, while Parsippany moved to 5-5 overall and 4-2 in conference play.

Whippany Park set the tone early, jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Parsippany responded with a run of their own in the second inning, but Whippany Park continued to apply pressure, extending their lead to 6-3 by the end of the third inning.

Individually, several players stood out for their performances on the diamond. Mathew Parker of Parsippany led his team with 2 runs, 2 hits, and 1 RBI. His efforts were complemented by Kevin Regan, who contributed 2 hits and 1 RBI of his own. On the Whippany Park side, Gaven Hesse and Ryan Turnbull led the charge, each tallying 2 runs and combining for 5 hits and 6 RBI. Justin Bachman delivered a strong performance on the mound for Whippany Park, earning the win with 3 strikeouts over 84 pitches.
