Boyle Co. man allegedly threatens to shoot himself or mother of his child, in custody

MITCHELLSBURG, Ky. (FOX 56) – Deputies with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office were called to investigate a disturbance on Thursday.

Dispatchers said they were told Ricky Camden, of Parksville, was inside a residence on Lebanon Road armed with a handgun by his parents.

His arrest citation stated he was reportedly upset and claimed he was going to shoot himself or shoot the mother of his child.

Deputies arrived at the scene are were able to promptly detain Camden and another individual outside of the residence and retrieved the firearm.

During the course of their investigation, deputies learned Camden was a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and he also had an active domestic violence order against him.

Deputies also said they located two other firearms, one of which was reported stolen.
