Southeast Idaho Transportation acquires Yellowstone Transportation
POCATELLO — Southeast Idaho Transportation has acquired Yellowstone Transportation, expanding its fleet and service offerings across the region. The acquisition combines Yellowstone's long-distance transportation experience with Southeast Idaho Transportation's group transportation capabilities and operational scale, according to a news release. The combined operation now features a larger fleet, including luxury vehicles and party buses, with expanded capacity for large groups, special events, corporate travel, airport transfers and private transportation needs. Southeast Idaho Transportation is now one of the most comprehensive transportation providers in the region, the release states. "Yellowstone Transportation has built a strong reputation for dependable, professional service, and we're excited to continue that legacy while offering customers more options, more availability, and greater flexibility," said Michael Blakey of Southeast Idaho Transportation. Existing Yellowstone customers will receive the same personalized service they are accustomed to, with the added benefit of expanded resources. Current bookings will not be affected by the transition. Both companies are committed to serving individual riders, families, corporate clients and large groups, and the merger is expected to improve scheduling, vehicle availability and accommodations.
