Man fatally shot, 3 others wounded when fight breaks out at house party: police

(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – A deadly shooting at a Park Forest residence early Friday occurred during a house party, according to new information released by police in the south suburb.

Police officers responded to a report of gunfire around 3:25 a.m. in the 100 block of Fir Street and found a “chaotic scene,” with people fleeing the area, officials said in a news release.

Inside a home, police found 29 year-old Ladarius Williams of Chicago, who died from multiple gunshot wounds. Two others had gunshot wounds and were taken to hospitals, while a third injured person was treated by paramedics and declined a transport.

An investigation determined a fight had broken out during a house party, and several people fired guns. Several firearms were recovered at the scene.
