SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — UDOT has just announced that Guardsman Pass will open June 8 at 7 a.m. UDOT started clearing remaining snow from the roadway on Monday.
“In a typical year, many of the seasonal routes reopen around Memorial Day weekend,” said a statement from UDOT. “This winter, however, Utah experienced more snowfall than it has since the 1950s, and we had our highest snow-water level ever recorded. With this in mind, it may take longer to open these routes.”
SNAPPED: UDOT to begin clearing snow on Guardsman Pass next week, opening date TBD
