HEADS UP: US-40 Construction, SR-248 northbound on and off ramp closure

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is improving the concrete pavement on U.S. Route 40 (US-40) from SR-248 to the Wasatch county lines. The improvements will include filling cracks, replacing concrete slabs as needed, and improving bridge joints. Crews will also improve striping, signs and cameras as needed throughout the project area.

Monday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 23: SR-248 northbound on and off ramps are expected to close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25: SR-248 southbound on and off ramps are expected to close from midnight to 6 a.m.

Friday, May 25 through Monday, May 29 – Crews will be off the road for the the holiday weekend.

Tuesday, May 30 through June 2: US-40 daytime single lane closures will be in place in each direction from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
