'Doubling Down With the Derricos' Fans Praise Karen for Being a 'Wonderful Mom' in Homeschool Video

Fans of the Derrico family, stars of the reality TV show Doubling Down With the Derricos , got a fun update from mom Karen Derrico that had many praising her parenting.

Karen took to Instagram to update fans on the family's past week of homeschooling , writing, "Happy Sunday!! 😍 Just a few snippets of the shenanigans of this week! Can you believe that we are Powering into week 6 of ✏️ 📚??? Wow!"

In the video, which was set to the encouraging song "Roar" by Katy Perry , there were plenty of smiles, some shenanigans and a lot of studying with her kids as they continued their schooling. One of her daughters also visited the ice skating rink.

Many fans' immediate reactions were about how cute the kids were, with plenty of comments like, "They are so cute 🥰 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰," and "Such Beautiful children ❤️."

The responses were also filled with compliments and encouragement for Karen, such as one who said, "Happy Sunday!!! Karen, you’re being a wonderful mom!!! ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍."

"Your [sic] are doing a great job , mom. Really great job," said another, as a similar comment read, "You are an amazing women [sic], and mom!!!!"

Someone else replied with an earnest message, saying, "I absolutely 💯 love how you're homeschooling your children, and they are doing greatly hat 👒 off to you, Karen."

Other fans and Doubling Down With the Derricos viewers simply shared love for the family and appreciation for the update during the reality TV show's break.

"❤️❤️ I miss seeing your beautiful family on tv," and "They are just growing by leaps and bound 😍 Simply love your family. Blessings," were two such messages.

Along with the start of the school year, the family also had exciting news to share with fans recently, as the eldest Derrico child, Darian , 18, got her driver's license .

While the show has not officially been renewed, Deon Derrico confirmed in July that the show was still filming at the time as Karen and Deon went through their divorce .
