The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for several counties in northeastern and eastern Texas. The warning is in effect until 12:45 AM CDT. Severe thunderstorms were detected moving eastward at a speed of 40 mph. The main hazards associated with these storms are 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail. The affected areas include Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Henderson, Center, and several other towns. Vehicles are expected to be damaged by hail, while roofs, siding, and trees may suffer wind damage.
