UPDATE 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 1: Panama City Beach officials said the State Medical Examiner’s Office has determined the man died of natural causes.
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) — Panama City Beach police were investigating a death Monday afternoon.
Officials said the body was found at about 1 p.m. near a gas station on Hutchison Boulevard. The man was believed to be a transient.
“There is no eminent danger to the community related to this incident,” city officials told News 13.
The investigation is ongoing.
