A Tehama County homicide case spanned three communities as the search was underway for the suspects in the shooting death of a man in Gerber. The case began around 12:30 a.m., May 31 when the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 300 block of Ventura Avenue in Gerber where they located two male gunshot victims, reported the sheriff’s office.
Caught on camera: vegetation fire in Red Bluff
RBFD said they got calls at about 1 p.m. about a vegetation fire in the area of Crosby Lane near Spyglass Drive. Fire crews put out a vegetation fire in Red Bluff on Thursday. Crews were on scene for about two hours performing mop-up. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
