Brownsville nonprofit launches affordable housing model in more expensive Rio Grande Valley
A nonprofit housing developer in Brownsville is hoping to change how affordable homes are built. Come Dream, Come Build (CDCB), officially launched its DreamBuild modular housing program last week, an effort more than five years in the making. The program’s concept is simple: give families who need affordable housing a choice in how their homes are built and the option to expand their home if they need more space.
Santoscoy gives update on McAllen International Airport’s terminal capacity study
MCALLEN, Texas – Jeremy Santoscoy, the City of McAllen’s aviation director, has given an update on his airport’s Terminal Capacity Study. “So, we started our Terminal Capacity Study. And so, with that study, what that’s going to entail is looking at the existing conditions, look at what’s upcoming, so we can know where we need to expand or make spaces more efficient,” Santoscoy said.
