Palm Springs Police Are Investigating An Attempted Homicide

Palm Springs, CA

On August 26, 2024, at approximately 10:58 PM, Palm Springs Police Department officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Bon Air Drive in response to reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence of a shooting in the area.

Shortly after that, a local hospital reported a walk-in patient with multiple gunshot wounds. The injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. The victim was identified as a 17-year-old male from Palm Springs.

The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are actively working to gather further information related to the suspect(s) and motive.
