Mediterranean cuisine is a huge draw in Palm Beach, and PB Catch is set to feature a special menu highlighting seafood dishes from that region for a week starting Monday.
The menu at the seafood restaurant and raw bar will be featured through Oct. 1; PB Catch’s regular menu will remain available.
Appetizers featured on the Mediterranean menu include a hummus plate ($17) with oven-roasted tomato jam, olives and grilled pita bread; and grilled octopus and calamari ($22) with baby arugula salad, cannellini beans, piquillo peppers, olives, blistered cherry heirloom tomatoes, pickled red onion and citrus vinaigrette.
Main courses include pancetta-wrapped mahi mahi ($42), served with soft corn polenta and tomato-olive tapenade.
Other entrée selections on the special menu include grilled salmon puttanesca ($44) with bucatini pasta, San Marzano tomato, capers, olives, garlic, anchovy and sundried-tomato pesto; and Mediterranean seafood bouillabaisse ($48) with braised clams, mussels, jumbo shrimp, fish, calamari, half Maine lobster tail, tomato, saffron, fennel and leek broth.
Dessert? The special menu offers affogato ($17) with classic baklava, pistachio gelato and an espresso shot.
