NexXLevel Transport loads a vehicle along North County Road on April 28, 2021. Under current rules, the south parking lot at Phipps Ocean Park is the only place where carriers can load and off-load vehicles.

The Town of Palm Beach is reminding residents that car carriers are allowed to load and off-load vehicles only in the south parking lot of Phipps Ocean Park.

If carriers are found blocking lanes of traffic, the vehicle owner and homeowner can receive a code enforcement notice for violation of the right-of-way or a traffic citation for stopping, standing, or parking in specified prohibited places, the town said in a release Friday.

Commercial loading and unloading/deliveries are allowed only during the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Violations of this ordinance are subject to fines.
