School Board To Meet, Vote Secretly This Week…

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Nine students are set to be expelled this week, according to an agenda for a closed school board meeting obtained by BocaNewsNow.com. As a matter of BocaNewsNow.com policy, we do not name the student nor the school where the alleged infraction occurred.
Student #1: Student was in possession of a weapon on February 27, 2023, on school property. The student is to be expelled from the regular school program for one year, then will be permitted to re-enroll.
Student #2: Student transmitted or posted a threat of mass shooting or terrorism on February 21, 2023. The student is to be expelled from all programs for at least one year.
Student #3: Student was in possession of weapon and threatened to use it on another student on March 10, 2023. The student is to be expelled from the regular school program for one year.
Student #4: Student was in possession of a weapon on March 13, 2023. Student is to be expelled but permitted to enroll in a comprehensive program for one year, and then will be permitted to re-enroll in Palm Beach County.
Student #5: Student was in possession of a weapon on March 29, 2023. Student is to be expelled for one year.
Student #6: Student was in possession of a weapon on March 16, 2023. Student is to be expelled for one year.
Student #7: Student was in possession of a weapon on April 6, 2023. Student is to be expelled for one year.
Student #8: Student transmitted or posted a threat of mass shooting or terrorism on March 27, 2023. The student is to be expelled from all programs for at least one year.
Student #9: Student was in possession of a weapon on April 11, 2023. Student is to be expelled for one year.
The vote is expected to take place during a special meeting of the Palm Beach County School Board on June 7th, 2023.
