A flood watch is in effect for Palm Beach County through Friday evening.
The entire area is under the threat of localized flooding within downpours.
Tropical Depression 2 located over the NE Gulf of Mexico could strengthen and become Tropical Storm Arlene.
As tropical moisture continues to surge into the area from this system, it will leave us with an unsettled weather pattern through the rest of the week.
Expect scattered showers and an isolated storm, with ample cloud cover too. This cloud cover and shower activity will help keep temperatures down, in the lower to mid 80s.
Storms that develop can produce heavy rainfall, strong gusty winds, and frequent lightning.
Higher shower and storm chances will continue through the end of the week and into the first weekend of June.
TROPICAL DEPRESSION MOVING SLOWLY SOUTHWARD...
...EXPECTED TO REMAIN OFFSHORE AND BE SHORT-LIVED...
Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some modest strengthening is possible overnight, and the depression
could become a tropical storm by Friday morning. Weakening is expected to begin later on Friday, and the system is forecast to
degenerate to a remnant low on Saturday.
