290 pounds of cocaine found during Grand Junction traffic stop
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Colorado State Troopers seized a large amount of cocaine in Grand Junction this Monday. CSP troopers pulled over a Chrysler minivan at around 3:30 a.m. on Interstate 70 near milepost 27. Law enforcement was suspicious of criminal activity and asked for content to search the vehicle. The driver denied it, and the trooper obtained a search warrant for the vehicle.
Shed fire on Main Street in Palisade
PALISADE, Colo. (KREX) — Firefighters are responding to a structure fire in Palisade on Tuesday. Initial reports claimed a house was engulfed in flames at 508 South Main Street in Palisade. Firefighters arrived at the scene and found a shed on fire. Emergency responders managed to stop the blaze before it reached the house. No injuries were reported from this incident.
