On Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. the ‘Bruddah Kuz Youth Jamm’ will be taking place at the Pahoa Recreation Center.

The event is a drug and alcohol-free event brought to you in collaboration with Iopa Maunakea (Bruddah Kuz), Kauhale Kanaka O Puna, The Men of Pa’a and Hawai’i County’s Revitalize Puna’s ʻŌpio (youth) and Cultural Resilience Capacity Areas.

There will be live music, food, craft vendors, makahiki games, cultural exchange, cultural practitioners, educational booths, social service information, sports demonstrations, social media table, and community informational guest speakers.

The purpose of this event, is to reconnect the community after the pandemic to empower and create safe spaces for the youth to thrive, practice the Hawaiian culture, and to create peer-to-peer mentorship and leadership.
