Thompson, who also shares two kids — True, 5, and Tatum, 1 — with Khloé Kardashian, was accused of neglecting Prince by Jordan’s sister, Kai Craig. She claimed that not only was the NBA champion absent from his son’s life physically, but he also stopped paying child support.
“It has been so hard to refrain from speaking up, and out of respect for my sister’s privacy. I haven’t for over 7 years, but this is just too much,” Kai wrote in a lengthy statement on Instagram at the time.
“It’s so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to do these nice things for others but can’t seem to show up and be a real parent for my nephew Prince.”

Kai’s comments came shortly after Kim Kardashian praised Thompson for his role as a father on an episode of “The Kardashians.”
“It’s so crazy because he’s such a good friend and he’s such a good like Dad, but he just couldn’t get it together in that area, of like being a faithful boyfriend,” Kardashian continued, noting how she “obviously” would like to hate him for how the father of four has cheated on her sister in the past.
“But he’s also shown so many decent things and just has been a really good person and friend. When he saw me struggling with my kids, he stepped up,” she continued.
