Editorial: You can help ‘Crush Cancer’
Cancer – it’s a word no one wants to hear, yet far too many do, whether it’s you or a loved one who is diagnosed. This Friday, June 7, the community will have an opportunity to help “Crush Cancer” and support local residents who are impacted by it through the annual David Walsh Cancer Center 5K Color Walk & Run. The race will start at 6 p.m. at the cancer center, located at 615 Fairhurst Street, in Sterling, and pre-registration begins at 5 p.m. You can also pick up a registration form at Sterling Regional MedCenter or go online, to https://tinyurl.com/32f2p22n and register early but know that the deadline to be guaranteed a t-shirt has passed.
