Following a wildly successful stop at New York City’s Governor’s Ball Festival last month, Tom Odell returns with a brand-new track, ‘Flying :)),’ out now via mtheory. Inspired by a quote from legendary producer and music mogul, Rick Rubin, about the importance of applying rules to yourself. Tom decided to record with just a piano and his voice. The result is the work of minimalist beauty, comprising of just Tom’s voice, a piano, and the occasional creak of the stool he sits upon.

Tom Odell has another new track today. On Friday, the singer released his delicate new cut "Flying :))." The song was inspired by a quote from iconic producer Rick Rubin about the importance of applying rules to yourself. It finds Odell singing with just the accompaniment of a piano. Of course, the result is beautiful.

Tom Odell has a new single out called “Sad Anymore,’ and he’s going to need you to grab the Kleenex. The English singer-songwriter, who we snapped quite nicely back in 2019 when he played Allston, released the track the past Friday (May 27), and it’s a delicate number that’s less a tune and more a mood that hangs overhead like a dense gray fog of manic depression and frighted misery.
