There was a whole lot of shaking going on in Mclean County Monday night around 10:35.
The U.S. Geological Survey confirms that a 3.0 magnitude quake occurred at 9:45 pm 3.2 miles west of Calhoun, Kentucky and felt in Owensboro.
Experts say damage doesn’t happen until an earthquake magnitude reaches above 4 or 5.
Several states sit in the New Madrid Seismic Zone which include Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky.
