A man was killed Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash in Oviedo, authorities say.
The crash occurred on Mitchell Hammock Road and Sharon Court just after 4:30 p.m., said Lisa McDonald, a spokesperson for the city of Oviedo.
Mitchell Hammock Road, from State Road 434 to Lake Jessup Drive, is shut down for an investigation, she added.
Law enforcement asks drivers to avoid the area while police investigate the accident.
