BINGHAMTON, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for East Central Otsego County. At 2:13 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cherry
Valley, or 11 miles east of Cooperstown, moving south at 15 mph.
60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail are possible with this system. Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include: Worcester, Middlefield, Westville, Westford, Elk Creek and Betty And Wilbur Davis State Park.
