Standoff leads to arrest
A police standoff of more than three hours resulted in the arrest of a 33- year-old man. According to a release from the Huntington County Police Department, at approximately 9:35 p.m. June 3, Huntington Central Dispatch received information that Nathan Lee Fugate, a 33-year-old white male, was located at 248 Roche St. in Huntington. Fugate had outstanding warrants for his arrest which were issued out of Allen County.

COURT DOCS: Fatal Monday stabbing followed argument over crack cocaine
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The suspect and victim in a fatal Monday stabbing were arguing over crack cocaine, newly filed court records show. In the hours leading up to the fatal stabbing, witnesses and the victim, who has not yet been identified by the Allen County Coroner, were drinking and smoking crack in the apartment, according to a probable cause affidavit written by Mark Bieker. Shortly before midnight, Yvonne Broadnax, a 47-year-old Fort Wayne woman, came over to the apartment where police would find the victim dead with a stab wound to the neck.
