Man Hospitalized After Friday Crash on US95 South of Lapwai
LAPWAI - Idaho State Police responded to a single vehicle crash that occurred on Friday morning near Lapwai. According to police, at 11:10 a.m., a maroon 2011 Kia Sorento was being driven southbound by a 63-year-old Caldwell man, on US95 near milepost 297, approximately 3 miles south of Lapwai in Nez Perce County.

Fire Crews Quickly Extinguish Vehicle Fire off Webb Road
LAPWAI - The Lapwai Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire near the intersection of US95 and Webb Road on Tuesday evening. According to Fire Chief William Skiles, fire crews were dispatched around 8:40 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found a Ford pickup that reportedly had blown a tire near Culdesac but continued to drive about 6 miles to a residence on Cherry Drive, located about a tenth of a mile from the US95 intersection with Webb Road. The driver of the pickup was reportedly unaware of the fire.

GENESEE —The Clearwater Valley Rams of Kooskia outshined the Genesee Bulldogs on all three levels in a Whitepine League baseball doubleheader on Friday.
