NBA player Jonathan Isaac is set to create a new apparel line meant to counter the “woke” agenda of retail brands.

“Retail brands have the freedom to go woke,” Isaac said. “We have the freedom to create an alternative.”

SUPREME COURT’S EPA DECISION SHOULD HELP CHECK BURDENSOME GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS

The Orlando Magic forward announced his new UNITUS apparel line, tweeting a video clip from a PragerU documentary that introduced the idea.

“UNITUS is a sports and apparel company, and the basis of it for me is freedom,” Isaac said. “You have companies that are in that field who have made a conscious decision to either attack or undermine Christian values, conservative values, and things like that.”

Isaac said he hopes to use the new apparel line to promote his conservative Christian values.

“The hope is to be able to sign athletes across all different sports and to create a real infrastructure for people who are in the sports world,” the athlete said. “Moms and dads who want to buy their kids sneakers and clothes but want to give their money to a company that they know is going to work toward bolstering their values.”

Isaac has been outspoken about battling “wokeism” and left-wing ideology.

In 2022, Isaac released his book Why I Stand, detailing his decision to stand for the national anthem amid an NBA-wide demonstration supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.

“It wasn’t entirely about the flag,” Isaac said while speaking at the ReAwaken America Tour in South Carolina last May. “It was just that moment of saying, ‘I believe that the love of Jesus Christ is what is ultimately going to heal this world because it is what has healed me.’”

Isaac said the UNITUS brand would launch in August 2023.
