Orlando man wins $1M prize from Florida Lottery scratch-off game

Julio Silverio Gonzalez, 28, purchased winning ticket from Publix on South Chickasaw Trail

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando man won a $1 million prize off a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

Lottery officials said 28-year-old Julio Silverio Gonzalez purchased the winning Gold Rush Doubler scratch-off game ticket from a Publix in Orlando, located at 409 South Chickasaw Trail. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

Silverio Gonzalez chose to receive his top prize as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $685,000 at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

The $5 Gold Rush Doubler scratch-off game features more than $188 million in cash prizes, including 28 top prizes of $1 million, according to the Florida Lottery.
