An Orlando woman is charged with DUI after reportedly speeding down the beach and crashing into the water.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office posted video of the aftermath -- showing the vehicle in the water at Smyrna Dunes Park.
The incident happened on Saturday.
"Witnesses at Smyrna Dunes Park reported a reckless driver plowed into the water after speeding down the beach at 50 mph in close proximity to several families and their dogs (it's a dog-friendly park), almost hitting a child," deputies said in a Facebook post."
The driver, 26-year-old Sarah Ramsammy, of Orlando, was charged with DUI (0.153 BAC) and reckless driving, according to the sheriff's office.
She was also cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
No one was injured.
