Afternoon storm chances increase Wednesday in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — A summer-like afternoon storm pattern will return to Central Florida on Wednesday.

Our area will have a 40% chance of seeing afternoon rain and storms Wednesday.

The high temperature in Orlando should reach around 87 degrees in the afternoon.

Our rain chances will go up to 60% on Thursday and Friday.

A weak disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico will pass by and increase our rain chance.

The system will move off our coast into The Bahamas this weekend.

It could develop some as it moves away from Florida.
