Time to say goodbye to Church Street Ballroom

A downtown venue is coming down to make way for new development.

The Church Street Ballroom has started demolition at 225 S. Garland Ave. The demolition can be seen from the street along Garland Avenue as of March 23.

The 23,273-square-foot iconic building dates back to 1994 according to Orange County Property Appraiser records. It most recently was used as a event venue for weddings and other events, before it was closed in 2019.
