The 17-mile corridor would be shared by Miami intercity rail service Brightline and local commuter rail SunRail, and would run from Orlando International Airport to the Orange County Convention Center and South International Drive. The stops would connect people with Universal Orlando Resort’s and Walt Disney World’s theme parks, in addition to the airport and convention center.

Brightline is set to start service to Orlando by the end of June. Eventually, the goal is for Brightline to Tampa through the new corridor.
