Owen Muche threw a complete game, and he and his Horicon teammates exploded for nine runs combined in the fifth and sixth innings to beat Orfordville Parkview 13-3 in six innings Thursday in Horicon.

The Vikings took advantage of a two-run error in the top of the first to take the lead, but Horicon tied it up in the bottom with an RBI single from Muche and an RBI groundout by Reed Vorlob.

Muche, Vorlob and Jay Graven all had two RBI for the Marshmen.

Mathias Treinen had two hits for the Vikings, who dropped to 0-8 on the season. They are scheduled to play a nonconference doubleheader at Clinton starting at 10 a.m. Saturday.
