Man arrested for selling drugs near Oregon City High School

OREGON CITY, Ore. —
A man is in custody after allegedly trying to distribute a controlled substance within a thousand feet of a school.

According to Oregon City police, 25-year-old Taylor Thomas was arrested during a welfare check.
Inside a vehicle near Meyers Road and High School Avenue, officers found 20 suspected fentanyl pills, nearly half an ounce of methamphetamine, fentanyl powder, as well as a scale and packaging material.
Thomas will be facing multiple drug related charges.
