A man was arrested after Orangeburg County deputies found large amounts of drugs during a traffic stop, officials said Thursday.
Deputies have arrested Bradley Hollington, 23, after deputies tried to pull him over for a broken license plate light and found 675.2 grams of heroin, 29.5 grams of marijuana, a pistol, and ammunition inside a gray and black bookbag in his possession.
In the early morning hours of May 27, a sheriff spotted a gray Ford Mustang Hollington was in and attempted to pull the car over for a traffic stop due to a missing license plate light. The driver of that vehicle sped off, starting a brief chase.
At one point, the Mustang slowed down allowing a passenger to flee the car. The vehicle would then stop moments later near Bellville and Parlor roads.
Hollington was charged with unlawful carrying of a pistol, trafficking heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance near a school, and failure to stop for a blue light.
