(Orange, MA) Saturday just after 11 a.m. the Orange Fire Department responded to a 911 call for a lost hiker in her 60s on Tully Mountain. They brought in off duty and call force crews to assist and staged their UTV and ground crew at the base of Tully Mountain. Within 90 minutes and three miles of searching, the hiker and her dog were located waist deep in a swampy area, but uninjured.

The Orange Fire Department reminded the public that “if you are lost, or think you are lost, stay in one spot contact 9-1-1, and await responders, fortunately this happened middle of the day, and not in the evening or nighttime hours.”
