Update: Wildfire in Orange Cove now 100% contained after claiming 108 acres

ORANGE COVE, Calif. — The wildfire burning in Orange Cove is 100 percent contained with 108 acres burned.

CAL FIRE and Fresno County Fire issued the update on the wildfire in Orange Cove just after 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.

On Thursday evening, fire crews responded to a wildfire on American Avenue, just east of Hill Valley Road.

According to CAL FIRE and Fresno County Fire's Facebook page, other fire agencies that assisted in successfully putting out the fire included Orange Cove Fire Protection District and CAL FIRE Tulare Unit.
