GUNMAN. WE NOW KNOW THIS FIERY CRASH ON CHICKASAW TRAIL IN ORANGE COUNTY IS BEING INVESTIGATED AS A HIT AND RUN. TROOPERS SAY THE CAR YOU SEE ON FIRE HERE RAN THE RED LIGHT NEAR STATE ROAD FOR WAIT. COLLIDED WITH ANOTHER CAR AND THEN OVERTURNED. THE DRIVER OF THAT OTHER VEHICLE THEN DROVE OFF. WITNESSES PULLED THE DRIVER OF THIS CAR TO SAFETY BEFORE IT BECAME FULLY ENGULFED. THE 71 YEAR OLD WOMAN FROM HAINES CITY WAS TAKEN TO ORLANDO REGION

An Orange County crash left one driver injured, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.FHP says two vehicles crashed on Chickasaw Trail and State Road 408 shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday.An SUV trying to make a left turn onto Chickasaw Trail ran a red light, witnesses told investigators, and another car crashed into the back of the SUV.According to FHP, the SUV struck a curb and a guardrail before overturning and catching on fire.Witnesses were able to get the driver, a 71-year-old Haines City woman, out of the SUV. She was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. According to FHP, the other vehicle involved did not stop after the crash.Witnesses described the vehicle as a white sedan, and FHP says the car also has damage to the front headlight on the left side.FHP urges anyone with information to call them at 407-737-2213 or contact Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS. An SUV trying to make a left turn onto Chickasaw Trail ran a red light, witnesses told investigators, and another car crashed into the back of the SUV.
