Orange Beach Wildlife Center Rescues an Injured Eagle in Gulf State Park. Orange Beach, Ala. – (OBA) – A bald eagle was rescued at the Alabama Gulf State Park following a territorial dispute. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, was first reported by park visitors. Park maintenance employees were the first to respond to the scene where they found the eagle with an injured eye and a slight beak injury.

Foley city recently held a celebration for its police dog teams and K-9 units from across the country who participated in a national competition. The Foley City Council acknowledged the Police Department units that organized and took part in the United States Police Canine Association National Field Trials in September. Mayor Ralph Hellmich thanked the Foley police units for their work in the competition and expressed appreciation to the K-9 officers and their dogs.
