Chattanooga Funeral Home Recognizes “Circle of Excellence” Winners
Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel and Hamilton Memorial Gardens recognize the 2023 “Circle of Excellence Winners.”. They are Licensed Funeral Director Russell Ford who has been with the North Chapel for eight years. Mr. Ford has 32 years of experience in funeral service. Also Kay Self, a family service counselor with Hamilton Memorial Gardens for 10 years and Kassandra Stephens, a family service counselor with Hamilton Memorial Gardens for four years.

Walnut Street between E Aquarium Way and the Walnut Plaza will be closed Wednesday, May 15th at 5 PM until Friday, May 17th for the Supercar Community Car Show. Valet services for the Edwin Hotel will be moved to the parking spaces on Walnut Street southbound between E Aquarium Way and E 3rd Street.

Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department battled a house fire Tuesday morning. A motorist called 911 at 9:57 a.m. reporting heavy smoke and fire around Highway 58 and Mayan Gap Road. Highway 58 VFD responded to 9200 Highway 58 and arrived on the scene reporting a wood-framed structure and woods fire.
