One man has been arrested in relation to a stolen vehicle in Onslow County while another is still being sought.
According to a press release from the Onslow County Sheriff's Office, on May 24, Deputies responded to Belgrade Swansboro Road for a report that a 1968 Chevrolet C10 pickup truck had been stolen. During the investigation, Eric Lewis Daw Jr. was identified as a suspect. The stolen truck was later recovered. Daw was also identified as the suspect in a separate case, in which Daw and Travis Napier stole hunting supplies from a tree stand located in a wooded area off of Rocky Run Road.
Warrants were obtained for Daw and Napier. On May 31, Eric Daw, 20, of Belgrade Swansboro Road, was arrested and charged with Felony Breaking and Entering; Felony Larceny After Breaking and Entering; Felony Larceny; Felony Conspiracy. He was issued a $7,000 secured bond on the above charges and was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Bond on the outstanding warrant was set at $5,000, making his total bond $12,000 secured.
Travis Daniel Napier, has an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He is a 46-year-old white male with a listed address of West Firetower Road in Swansboro.
