As a small business owner for more than three decades, I’ve always believed in playing by the rules and paying my fair share — because it’s the right thing to do. That’s why it’s so disappointing to me that some members of Congress continue to prioritize big corporations and the ultra-rich, even proposing billions of dollars in additional tax giveaways that let them play by a different set of rules. It’s time for Congress to realize that improving tax fairness means a stronger economy, more vibrant small businesses and greater opportunities for Wisconsin families.
