HS Football: Central 2B League, Napavine train not slowing down
The Napavine Tigers are locked in on defending their State Championship and improved to 4-0 but they have company as Forks and Toledo are also undefeated through 4 weeks. The highly competitive Central 2B also has the 3-1 Raymond and PWV and 5 teams at 2-2. Girls Soccer: Centralia comes away with a shoot out win over WF West
Centralia 1, WF West 0 (2-1 shoot-out) Bearcat Stadium hosted the first leg of the girls Soccer Rotary Cup and saw Centralia come away with a shootout win. WF West and the Tigers played to a 0-0 draw thru regulation thanks in large part to an amazing save by Bearcat keeper Staysha Fleutsch right before the whistle to end regulation this play would earn her our Better Homes and Gardens Northwest Home Team Takin’ it to the House Play of the Game. The play would also force 2 scoreless golden goal overtime periods and a PK shootout to determine a winner.
