One person arrested for assault after cutting early Monday morning
One person was arrested after a cutting injured two people in Omaha early Monday morning.
Omaha police said they were involved in some sort of incident at an apartment complex near 98th Street and Mockingbird Drive around 12:10 a.m.
Officers responded to the area and found one of the victims, a 25-year-old man, with knife wounds, authorities said.
A second victim, 27-year-old Karlena Rockwell, arrived at the scene shortly after, Omaha police said.
Medical personnel took both victims to Methodist Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.
Investigators said that Karlena allegedly attacked the victim with knives in their apartment.
Karlena was released from the hospital and taken into custody for felony assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony, Omaha police said.
